Rick wound up in Bend because of a Beaver motor coach. Apparently his dad was having trouble getting something fixed and drove up here to the factory. His dad instantly fell in love with 1985-era Bend and decided to open Holiday Realty and invited Rick to join him in the business. Rick remembers buying acre lots in DRW for $6,000 at the time!
